The Summer Set Takes On The Music Of Taylor Swift For Exclusive Wal-Mart Release

Video For "The Boys You Do (Get Back At You)" Premiering 7/6

As fans of The Summer Set know, the band has always had a soft spot for country sweetheart Taylor Swift. While on the Alternative Press tour this past spring, they covered Swift's "You Belong With Me" in their set. Fans now have the chance to own a special set of the Taylor Swift covers from The Summer Set's 2010 Hoodwink Festival performance in a limited edition deluxe version of Love Like This which includes a free disc of the five Swift cover songs entitled Love Like Swift. The album is available exclusively at Wal-Mart starting July 6th for $10.00, and can also be pre-ordered at Walmart.com.

At this year's Hoodwink Festival, The Summer Set had a special guest appearance by Eye Alaska frontman, Brandon Wronski, who joined the band for their rendition of Swift's "Love Story" after his band's own cover set of Kanye West songs. "Love Story," as well as other tracks will also be available to stream via an ABSOLUTEexclusive Thursday July 1st on Absolute Punk.

The band recorded a video to give listeners a sneak peak of what they can expect from Love Like Swift which can be viewed here. Fans who pick up the limited edition album automatically have the opportunity to enter into an exclusive contest: Anyone who submits photos of themselves holding a copy of the deluxe CD will be entered to win a pair of tickets to Warped Tour and a phone call from the band. A new winner will be selected every week for the duration of Warped Tour.

Also being released on July 6th will be The Summer Set's music video for their song, "The Boys You Do (Get Back At You)", which will be premiering exclusively on MySpace.com.

The Summer Set will spend the summer on the Glamour Kills Clothing Stage at the Vans Warped Tour. The Vans Warped Tour kicks off on June 25th in California and ends August 15th in Oregon.
